What is

Ice Climbing Lapland

Ice climbing Lapland is not a « company », I work like a free lancer.

My international certification allows me to guide on every mountain of the world excepted in some country with special foreign workers legislation or political restrictions.

My philosophy is not about money making but is about climbing, skiing and having time to enjoy my lifestyle

This Is My Story

Your guide, skiing in Norway

I was born in France in 1976,

After my bachelor of in physical sciences and glaciology I chose to take the path of adventure and become a mountain guide.

I had been a UIAGM/IFMGA certified guide since 2009.

I received my training at ENSA Chamonix French National Mountain Guide School.

I worked and lived for more than 10 years as a local guide year round in La Grave and Ecrins National Park ( France ).

There I climbed many long routes, rock, ice and mixed, from very difficult to extremely difficult level.

There I met my Finnish wife and we moved to Lapland in 2017.

I now share my time between France, Norway and Finland, in Rovaniemi my basecamp, where I enjoy the arctic lifestyle.

For me, the respect for the environment, the nature, the mountain and its safety rules comes first and foremost.
